What ReeLoop does
ReeLoop is a subscription tool for YouTube creators: it researches keywords, drafts optimized video titles/descriptions/tags, and cross-posts YouTube Shorts to Instagram Reels. This page explains what data we collect to provide that service and how it's used.
Information we collect
- Your email address, to create your account and send sign-in links.
- YouTube access tokens, obtained via Google OAuth when you connect your channel, used to read your video list and update video titles/descriptions/tags on your behalf.
- Instagram access tokens, obtained via Instagram OAuth when you connect your account, used to publish Reels to your own Instagram account on your behalf.
- Your own Anthropic API key, if you provide one — encrypted at rest and only decrypted server-side to generate content suggestions for your videos.
- Billing information — handled entirely by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, not your card details.
- YouTube video metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, view counts) synced from your connected channel, and the content niche/preferences you configure in Settings.
How we use this information
Solely to operate the features described above: researching keywords, generating metadata suggestions, applying changes to your YouTube videos when you approve them, and publishing Shorts to Instagram when you request it or schedule it. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Third-party services we use
- Google / YouTube Data API — to read and update your connected channel's videos.
- Meta / Instagram Graph API — to publish Reels to your connected account.
- Anthropic — to generate title/description/tag suggestions, using your own API key.
- Stripe — to process subscription payments.
- Resend — to send sign-in and account emails.
Each of these only receives the data necessary for its specific function (e.g. Anthropic only sees the video metadata being optimized, not your billing information).
Data retention and deletion
You can disconnect your YouTube or Instagram account at any time from within the app, which deletes the stored access tokens immediately. To delete your account and all associated data entirely, contact us at the email below.
